Once again the county commission raises the dead issue of a WHEEL TAX. This tax has come up several times in the past twenty years and has been met with a resounding No each time. Now we face a REAL MENACE in that some of our commissioners are planning an end run around the will of the people. Commissioner Steinbuck supports this move and said as much at last night's county commission meeting. The Commission will meet December 8 & 15th 2008 at 6pm to take two votes so they can push it through Nashville this session. Click here to read more. |
