Human remains could have been in TN barn for five years
Police in West Tennessee now say human remains found in a Haywood County barn are those of two diferent people.
When the bones were discovered Thursday morning, police thought they were from a single body.
John Mehr , the TBI special agent in charge, told reporters that further investigation shows that the remains are those of one male and one female.
Mehr said forensic experts will begin examining the remains, but it is too early at this point to know the actual height, weight and other physical descriptions of those the remains belonged to.
The abandoned barn where the remains were found is in the Nutbush community. Mehr says the bodies could have been there for one year or as many as five.
